The West Shore Center for Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program provides an innovative treatment approach which goes beyond the use of evidence-based practices to include unique interactions with horses, creative arts, spirituality, family support, and family meals.  Intervention goals are designed to help individuals overcome harmful habits and to uncover core issues that often contribute to anorexia, bulimia, and emotional eating.

Individuals with eating disorders may experience a range of extreme disturbances in eating habits, such as limited food intake or excessive overeating, or constant anxiety about body weight and shape.  People experiencing an eating disorder have an unhealthy relationship with food and their body, which often results in performing unhealthy weight regulation practices.
